QuoteBaltimore prosecutors on Wednesday dropped the remaining charges against three police officers in the Freddie Gray case.

Officers Garrett Miller, William Porter and Sgt. Alicia White had pleaded not guilty to charges that included involuntary manslaughter, assault, misconduct in office and reckless endangerment. Miller's trial was to begin this week, Porter's trial was to start in September and White's in October.

Three other officers charged in the case - Officers Edward Nero and Caesar Goodson Jr. and Lt. Brian Rice - were acquitted by a judge of all charges at bench trials earlier this year.

SMDH! No words.

Read about this earlier in the day. This is sad, and, unfortunately, unsurprising.
