I can't help but wonder why. Black people have had it so badly, and continue to be stepped on.
Why would such an awesome & powerful God allow so much to happen to one group of people at the hands of another?
I'm sorry, but this is really on my mind.
I dont think our sturggles are by Gods will so much as they are our own/the enemy. Honestly tho, ppl are moving further and further away from him and his word. So when the question of "why us?" is presented you have to look at the actions of the ppl.
Ppl ask why God allows hunger/famine to be so widespread in places like India. But India is a nation full of false Gods. They also worship the Cow/cattle (there for consumption) and consider it illegal to kill them. So they, the ppl, not only choose to ignore God but also his blessings.
What makes the Christian God more real than there's?
And last time I checked Christian nations in Africa and Asia are doing just as bad as the lower class in India so it can't just be 'They worship the wrong God."
Ur right. Which is why I said you have to look at the actions of the ppl. Just because one claims the title Christian doesn't mean you live, eat and breath it; as evident by the so called Christians in this country alone. I can't assess each individual occurance nor am I supposed to. I do know that being a Christian doesn't mean you are exempt from struggle (something non believers seem to forget). If you're looking for an easy, trail and test free life, Christianity and the spirituality that comes with probably isnt for you. I mean, all 12 of his disciples died heinous deaths in his name. Your faith means nothing if you have no hardship to really test it against. Its those who worship him in their darkest hours who are his real followers. Again these are just my beliefs
