Who did they bring to the Today show to PROMOTE the concert? I mean hello

They always bring the hosts to promote concerts and award shows.... Cuz normally the headliner wouldn't have time for that.

The show is in SEPTEMBER Im sure there is plenty of time
this is not a tour its just ONE show

I've never seen headliners or artists make promo runs for a performance they're doing for a show. That's like Bey going to The Real to promote for the EBT Awards. I'm pretty sure that's in Ushers job description as host.

Bey doesnt go anywhere these days so thats a bad example, but I've definitely seen artists go an promote shows that they will be on. Also Usher isnt the ONLY host
so its not like it HAD to be him just because he's A host. They picked him because
he was in New York to perform on Jimmy Fallon
and because he's still popular

Ray.... It's ok. It's the norm for hosts to promote the show their HOSTING. This isn't unusual and based on "name". It just comes with the job. I'm trying to help you!!! You just said they picked him cuz his ass was already there in NYC.

And I mean... you can pretty much insert any artist in the example. Bey was just the first that came to mind.
