Has it been 20 days since Brandy filed the lawsuit in NYC ? because I'm ready for this mess to be over
?I tried to be blind to your game
Deep down I knew you wouldn't stay around
Should of left your side in the first place
But I thought I'd be cool when you would play around?

"Kesha is focused on getting back to work and has delivered 28 new songs to the record label," Daniel Petrocelli, partner at O?Melveny & Myers, said in a statement to BuzzFeed News. "We have conveyed to Sony Music and the label Kesha?s strong desire to release the single and an album as soon as possible."

If Dr. Luke fails to release the 28 new recordings, Kesha could present that as evidence that Sony and Dr. Luke, despite their assurances to the contrary, are refusing to release her new music.

Laurie Soriano, an entertainment attorney whose clients have included Marilyn Manson, M.I.A., and Frank Ocean, said failing to release the music could be viewed as a breach of contract depending on the terms of the recording agreement.

"A lot of recording agreements have a ?release agreement,? so if that is the case, it would empower her to take action ? to demand that it be released, at least that it would be counted,? Soriano said.

However, Dr. Luke could also argue that the music provided was not commercially satisfactory, if that is the standard in their agreement, Soriano added.

Now see. This is crazy. Lol wow. So she's been recording and submitted music but if he feels it's not "commercial" he could fight to avoid release. Pure mess

Definitely agree with this statement.

Someone sift that quote to QUEEN!

Brandy recorded and released B&P despite help from the label.
She was recording before and after the lawsuit
She went on tour

She IS doing what the statement suggests

And what good is recording if she ain't releasing shit?

This part stood out to me. I wonder if the same would apply to Brandy's situation.

Depends on the stipulations of her contract

The suggestion I quoted was to record and perform which she has been doing. On top of actually releasing a song and shooting a video without the labels consent.

She should record so that once she is out of this contract she can release music freely without the possibility of Breyon hitting HER with a lawsuit lol As he stated in his response before.. if he wanted to he could have had B&P pulled..
