AANBAN the song is also one of the popular cuts for Li. The line/lyric really embodied her.

It KINDA is because it was even a phrase people used back in the day, like with Brandy's I wanna be down. Its still not as "go to" as her other 2 songs from that era. That era isnt what people go up for in its entirety tho, its kinda  just those 3 songs.

Can I ask the Li's something? Don't you think out of all the three, Red is the least authentic or the "fakest", for the lack of a better term.

I just don't Aaliyah was very open and personal it was difficult to connect with her on Red.

Not a "li" but her last album was the one i felt like was most her. I think the first album was people trying to push an image. The whole R.Kelly connection tied into it too. I dont think that was her at all tbh

The li album was her only adult album, she didn't have a chance to open up fully and express her personal life through her music
Who knows if she ever would of anyway
But it's the def the album I'd as connect with her personality the most
