I don't think X-Tina was ever a "good girl," per say, but the image change was a shocker.  Same with Mariah.  I think both of them had other people dictating how they'd present themselves, at first.  And when they she'd that image some people were shocked and offended.


I think Rihanna's image change worked the best for her.  It gave her her own unique identity.
