If it was over a period of time, it would seem like she was working all the logistics out and then calling them once everything was done to her satisfaction. It isn't hard to understand at all tbh. It is sneaky to not tell the sisters about meeting the producer in New York. It is about the Braxton family not about Tamar. I think because Vince and Tamar already did this meeting behind their backs they are afraid they won't have much control over it. It is important for the careers of all the girls that this musical doesn't end up like Kandi's.

This is all moot if they didn't actually broker a deal, IMO.

Even if it were a concern, they should have just simply said it sounded interesting, so they want to be fully aware of everything and making all the decisions as a team from that point.  Whether that's a producer credit, whatever.  The fact that Tamar and Vince were contacted first to help convince the others is ok since she is high-profile.  Same thing if Toni brought the idea to them.  As long as everything was still early, nothing had been signed, no deal had been set, and she was coming to them to collaborate, I don't see the big uproar.

And all the previous questionable things, in their mind, were things that Tamar did for herself.  Like getting a spinoff.  If she's coming to them with a group project, it's just an idea that's totally different than if she walked in saying it was a done deal and she was getting her own play based on all their lives.  I feel like they all approach one another with project ideas that someone brought to one of them.  Family Feud is one time that no one questioned.  A group album.  An appearance somewhere, etc.  Whatever, I just felt their reaction was overblown.

And saying toni and tamar bringing an opportunity to them is the same isn't necessarily true. They have history and have dealt with each other in the past. Maybe there's a reason to side eye tamar  on the business side. We've already heard from numerous sources that she don't pay her fckn people. Maybe they don't have the same experience with Toni in business as they do tamar.  I mean this was the ONLY bitch that was just let go from an ensemble cast. We truly dont know how shiesty and shady this hoe is. Something tells me that getting into business with tamar is hell. Let them ask they fckn questions

Yeah I can't see how anyone wouldn't understand why they were asking questions. Tamar isn't Kim K, she doesn't have their best interest. I think Trina and Tow' did right by asking questions especially if it's something their names will he attached to and you already know Vincent and Tamar will get a larger cut than everyone else just because they took the meeting. It's all snake shit because anything having to do with the Braxton's should include all the Braxton's not just Big Vince and Ugly.

How is she being bashed for not including them when that was exactly what she was trying to do?    One meeting means nothing in Hollywood or big-time deals like that.  Why invite five people to New York to hear these dudes without knowing their expectations first?  Yeah, they could have invited all of them.  But what if it turned out to be some BS that wasted everyone's time?  It was not a business deal.  As long as nothing was agreed or signed, it was just a dinner with people tossing around ideas.

Business-minded people would have said, "OK let's talk details with these people.  Oh and we're splitting everything five ways.  " If that's their concern.

They are still participating and benefitting from the big idea she brought to them (the show), so they can't be too mad at the idea of her starting things for them.

I had trouble with their reaction because I don't see how it was any different from the time Tamar surprised them all with the news that they were invited to appear on Family Feud.  What's so different?  Sure, it's a bigger time investment, but it's also a bigger platform. Once she assured them that everything was in the beginning stages and nothing had been ironed out, that should let them know their input was needed.  I could see if she said she made a deal without them.

Again, a meeting is nothing if no deal were set.  If she honestly has not done anything except heard the idea, that's no different from a phone call.  Who cares if it were discussed over the phone or in NY over dinner?  The point is, no script has been made, no one has been cast, no one signed anything or agreed to business terms, no dates have been set, no money has been exchanged, and no obligations have been stated.  She was even asking them about ideas for the content, so even that is up in the air.  That being the case, that's a prime opportunity for them all to provide input and get their coins.  Demand terms, if you're worried.

I have no problem with them asking questions.  Their tone and skepticism is what what surprising, especially after she emphasized she had only been presented an idea.

These girls even complained about doing the reality show idea with them in the beginning and would not sign on without Toni being involved then when Tamar was sitting with production and using footage putting her sisters relationships in bad light Trina stepped up and demanded a EP role on the show. They've known this snake bitch all their life. You can't tell them how they're supposed to feel. Sit back and continue watching on the sidelines.
