I used to be a  girl

I thought I was white, but I was really young. Doing that mess as adults is ??? girls

But two things changed me

1. I was perched at Lacy's pool party at Scott's house. "Oh just leave him, he'll be fine, family!"

My black ass couldn't swim and started drowning in the deep end. The only thing I remember is bubbles and little WHITE faces cackling before I blacked out. My friends LOLZ!

2. We were painting portraits of ourselves and I didn't use any brown paint. So the teacher pulled me outside "Sweetie, look at your picture and tell me if you see anything wrong"
"Bitch... I don't"


The. She politely explained that my brown skin is a part of me and I should always reflect that. A white teacher. Still love that woman.
