I disagree about the BSB still making albums thing.  Who wouldn't want to continue doing what they love for as long as they can?  Those albums may not make a lot of money, but those tours with NKOTB sell out big arenas. I know they're making a good money on tour and I don't blame them for taking the opportunity.

NSync probably doesn't 'to have much of a choice. Justin wants a solo career, and he basically is NSync.
