I know the Li fans Tryna petition a lipstick line for her thru MAC, but has there been a petition yet to get her music on these iTunes and all these streaming sites, it's kinda crazy u can't purchase her albums digitally?! Luckily I got a copy of all her albums while they were still in print

So the reason why Aaliyah?s music isn?t available for you to buy or stream is, you guessed it, is because of some messy music industry business involving Aaliyah?s former music label Blackground Records. The record sold hundred?s of the hit songs that were under their label (including most of Aaliyah?s music) to Reservoir Media Management. Reservoir Media Management now has full rights to her music after acquiring it in 2012 and are not releasing it to iTunes, apple music, spotify or any of the other beloved streaming services (any time soon at least).
