RINGGOLD, Ga. ? UPDATE: Catoosa County Sheriff Gary Sisk confirms 2 men were arrested in connection with the assault.

Marcus Sharpe and Justin Cunningham were both arrested in Rutherford County, Tennessee early Saturday morning.



Rutherford County dispatchers say they were arrested following a "separate incident" there. We reached out to the Murfreesboro Police Department for more information but have not heard back. Sharpe is charged with criminal impersonation and fugitive from justice.

Cunningham is charged with giving a false report or information, leaving the scene of an accident and driving on suspended license. Those charges were filed in Rutherford County. They will be brought to Catoosa County to face charges in the assault, according to Sisk.

Sheriff Sisk says "Ringgold PD is still investigating and more warrants for additional participants may be coming.
