Culturally, yes. There is a difference.
Race. No.

But that's obvious, I think?

it's all so weird, we talk about how the Asians are terrible when it comes to their perception of blacks, but the biracial ones, say that ish like its the icing on the cake. Well the Koreans who are clearly mostly asiatic, I know for sure. My bf is such, and there's a whole community of them who really take pride in having Black in their mix. it's like an a-ha! It's cute.

Honestly, i see anyone with "black" skin as black. We just all have different backgrounds and circumstances but that's no different from the black guy from the hood vs the black guy from the burbs. Both of ya BLACK

And bent is absolutely right .. It's not about being "better than" by claiming who you are. Because PRs are no better than AAs . I'm proud to be black. I am proud to be AA . But I am also proud of my heritage in the islands.

I think when people accuse others of trying to be better it shoes how much they think of AAs.
!!!!!!

It sucks to admit but... there's no pride in AA when there should be. It's for lack of a better word ... bad

I've never seen anything like it. We grow up thinking we're inferior, we have less opportunities than everyone

And our celebrities exchange their natural locks for blonde mess and bleaching cremes
Black men marry lighter skinned or white women

Yet Kim/Khloe/Kylie reach fame for stealing what lots of AA women have naturally
White singers get famous for stealing our swag :dead:

It's one big oxymoron :dead:

I never grew up thinking I was inferior as an AA male, and I'm proud to be black
The devil is a liar
Fuck that
