I dont know if Tinashe's double sound is exactly a good move or not. its obvious that she has plenty of influences, prefferences and sounds, but..... giving something like Superlove in the summer and months later something as drastic/different as this new one....... Im not sure thats the way to go to reach a bigger audience.
One month you give something more mainstream/fun, and the next one an edgy/darker single.... not everyone from general audience accepts that, having two very different sounds from the same artist. I think consistency is important and Tinashe clearly wants to please both audiences, but..... at some point you have to choose one direction/demographic, I guess.
