And this 4 single shit is dead at this point... this is why she might as well do a long ass visual with a dope story line with like 4-5 tracks included so everyone can be familiar with those songs to sell her project.... then do one more music video for like the fan fav or "it" song on the album that's prolly has a big feature and gon get radio play...

2. Link and create a dope story line/visual with a really good video director (I would like for her to have a theme centered around losing close relationships and trying to keep her composure and then have a breaking point, basically what she's goin thru right now... she can really sell the angry black female that had the failed marriage, the betrayal of close friends and the snakes of the business world, very relatable TBH)

3. Solidify a dope image fashion wise - She needs to sell a dark image cuz that's wear she slays the most... she can keep the twists or box braids but styled in a edgy way... she needs a high fashion urban chic look to match and always having dark colors and a dark lip..

I only want Brandy to release music she believes in at this point, if it's not something to just tie fans over. I want her to minimize, reduce, if not eliminate regrets or negative retrospective thoughts.

The kind of music isn't as important if she's not catering to radio or looking for a hit. She can make anything sound good, and that's because her voice trancends labels or genres.

smart points. and yeah, if she isnt planning to get radio support or a hit, the genre wont matter, so for this alone, I think she should go out of the r&b box, like..... really OUT. explore new genres, new sounds, something that none can say its "r&b" or "urban music" just for urban radio.

Brandy can do any genre, and she would probably get more fans that way, so....... the ultimate question is: why not? she doesnt have anything to lose

I didnt mean to abandon rnb, she will always have that side of her, in her own voice and on the actual tours, but I think she's limiting herself focusing on just r&b producers, writers and all. Brandy said she doesnt wanna be put in a box, so.... if she doesnt want that, she can easily explore a whole new territory.

hell, Coldplay is a pop act, and Brandy made her Magic cover which everyone loved, so thats quite telling.

The audience is OPEN for new genres from Bran, she just has to actually go all out. At least for some tracks/singles.
