This dog didn't even look full grown. Officers usually have pepper spray on them, why wasn't the dog pepper sprayed? My fur babies are my first priority, and I would have put them in a bedroom. I would be suing the department and the officer(s) involved. I'm waiting for the day an officer shoots a border collie or sheltie. Bc's and shelties don't have the attack gene, that's why they herd. They may run out and bark, but don't attack.

The funny thing is, she's dead serious.

Even a Great Dane. They're huge but I've NEVER heard of anyone being attacked by a gentle giant. I'd jump in front of a bullet for my dogs. I don't doubt it for a second. My golden retriever doesn't even lick! Someone tries to shoot her... There are no words to express my anger. Both of my dogs have been hit by cars when we weren't home. If I had been there, I'd wouldn't have hesitated to run out into the road to save them. Thankfully, both made a full recovery. I'd do anything for my fur-family.
