He's independent now. He doesn't have a major label backing him anymore. I recently read that he's looking for a distribution deal to release physical copies of Blond.

I hate that he's independent now. Yeah, more money for him, but I already feel like they've mishandled the album by not releasing it physically weeks ago. I haven't even heard it yet because I was awaiting a physical release.

He hasn't even been promoting the album. He has done zero performances and promotion. This is why everybody can't go indie.

I loved Channel Orange and Nostalgia but this one needs more plays to get into.. It sounds like one of those albums you need to have a particular mood to enjoy it. After listening to it once the only track that stood out was Pink + White. Haven't listened to it again.. Kinda forgot tbh
