Yea Shan was relevant a good 6-8 yrs
and her last album sold more than some ppl who are on a major label
:blessed:

Ashanti was like the Queen of music literally for about 15 months and so abruptly fell of, it is unbecoming and a feat in itself.

Going from 400k first week, Grammys, 4 songs in the top ten to being a total and complete has-been.

Not when "Only U" was already comeback record, and by then she seemed washed. Sis was literally hot for the summer of 2002 and stretched her mess out until 2003, til Bey replaced her.

She was literally the gap girl for when Bran got pregnant and Aaliyah died and before Beyonc? became a solo star, she snuck in and milked the hell out of that lane. Kinda like Trey Songz was only succesful because Chris Brown's star had started fading for a minute.

Ashanti's popularity began to wane after the whole Murder Inc. indictment. Sis venture into movies because she couldn't create music no more at that time during the fiasco.
