Never did I once think to donate them to a charitable organization, or ask around to see if anyone was in need. And I'm so quick to go shopping, spending money in what some would consider to be a frivolous manner, but I haven't given to anyone in need (unless it's my family or friends) in months. I really had to ask myself "what kind of person am I?". We'd all like to assume that we're good people; but where's the good in selfishness and complete ignorance to and lack of action in regard to others' suffering?
