I guess. Well weave or not, I don't see how it matters. We definitely don't consider it weave in Nigeria. And it is common practice for males and females likewise.

We distinguish between Weave/Weavon and Braid. But yeah a name is a name is a name, I don't see how it matters.

fffff I remember I saw a post on Twitter about part of a girl's 'weave' falling out and I was like 'Huh? That's a braid :omgwatshappening: '

It's just a cultural thing apparently.

Wait Malc' has a point, wtf do y'all call weave?

Africans (or Nigerians afaik) only call it weave when it's actually sewn into your head.

Braiding using xpression hair isn't called weave.

I am just glad to have a witness. I was really questioning myself for a moment. nnn

I honestly don't see how it matters though.

This is not a weave. It is cheap synthetic hair that costs 5?'s. Africans use those to do all kinds of braiding styles. I don't know what methods you guys use.

Braids are not weaves, they are braids. And any Nigerian would look at me funny, if they ask for weave and I give them X-Pression braiding hair.

One could write a piece about this, this was really enlightening.

This fucking culture shock. So Xzibit and them had to wait til their hair is big as fuck to get their braids, otherwise it'd be considered "feminine"?

:mmywheresddy:

So this braiding hair is common practice for men in Germany?
No it is a Nigerian thing. Black people do it this way. And I don't see the issue. it looks the same.

No shade Malcolm but most Nigerian men don't even braid their hair sss

And most men that grow their hair don't add synthetic (  :uhh: ) hair to it.

You really just set yourself ahp, dummy.

GRAND

No I understand what you're saying

It's just amazing how different cultures view hair extensions, clip ins, weaves, ect

Cartierline

sdddddd

Personally I wouldn't ever wear any form of fake hair in my head. It's not for me.

Well had I known it was a thing, I would not have so nonchalantly revealed myself to Real. Clearly where I am from it is the regular procedure. I can just speak from my experience and the people and men I know.

While I was waiting for my hair to grow long enough I purchased some kinky ones to add in for the man bun look. I think I wore it out like twice in public

I sometimes sing and dance in the mirror to Monica while wearing it down :dead:
