I connected so much with Queen Solange on this. She really preached.

The podcast is so good!  So proud of Solange. She posseses sp much integrity but not pretentious. And highly intelligible. 

When she said "all I wanted to be was a black Bjork!"

!!!!!!!!! I think this is why she's more accepted rather than say Dawn. Her entire transition has been gradual. She allows the music to speak for itself while providing down to earth, honest commentary to push her message.

And she unapologetically embraces her negro-ness and her black socialization.

What I love about Solange is that she has no problem showing love to artists that inspire her.
You don't see that alot today with the new generation of artists.
