So yesterday my bf called me on his way home from work and walking down his block he started talking to someone and the phone went silent. So I said hello, waited about a minute and then hung up. He called back and was like "why did you hang up I said hold on?" I'm like well "I thought you put me on mute so I hung up. I didn't hear you say hold on" so clearly he had a problem with that and said by me "assuming" he put me on mute and hanging up is overreacting....


Am I wrong?

Both of you are doing too much you didn't hear him so there's nothing wrong with you hanging up, but on the other hand, you're making it way bigger than it needs to be.

Are Ya'll having other issues? cuz this should have gone a lot differently. "I hung up cuz I didn't hear you say that" and "oh ok" should have been the response, and Ya'll could have continued the conversation. mess

i would say youre overacting but  by you saying youre not letting this ONE go means there are other things he has done to make you question him ... so yeah

He had clicked over his friend was on the other line. My whole thing is I didn't hear hold on so if I hang up how is it overreacting?
