Ray, why do you think Usher never lipped his uptempos?

It frustrates me so much that he, TO THIS DAY, will always sing live even when doing all that choreography.  I think it really has hurt his live performances over the years.  It's commendable, but I hate that he refuses to lip to give PERFORMANCE!  :fuming:

Sometimes, it's not about the VOCAL.  Captivate the audience!  That one thing has made so many of his performances over the last 10 years lackluster.
I kinda agree
but IDK, he lipped a few times during Here I Stand era and ppl dragged him then

What did he lip that era?

That album SLAYS, by the way.

"Love You Gently" kicked in on my shuffle when I was doing a 4 hour drive not too long ago.  Then I punched into "Appetite". NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

The way my wig FLEW out the window.

WHEW!
omfff

"Love You Gently" is everything.

WHEW!
Love In This Club on the BET Awards
and Moving Mountains a few times after his voice cracked on GMA

No shade, but "Moving Mountains" doesn't even sound that good on record.

I drag him, but Usher is >>>>>

His catalog is LEGENDARY.  I was a guest on this college radio show last weekend, and we were talking about R&B catalogs.  And I argued Usher's catalog DOWN.

Classic after classic.
