I watched this earlier. It honestly was disappointing to see another educated "scholar" who perpetuates stereotypes/ignorance.

He based his findings on the few clients he had; that doesn't make them applicable to the entire population.

There actually is more research that suggests being gay is in fact related to genes.

Why is he proclaiming himself to be well versed on the community yet he inadvertently implies that homosexuality is in the same neighborhood as pedophilia & molestation.


Just sucks that's he's in the mental health field. If he has these biases working with gay clients he's automatically doing them a disservice.

I don't think because homosexuality isn't part of your DNA it is something that should be fought. Unless there is a proven method of "curing" it, the best therapy is to let people live according to their likes and desires.
