I heard a while ago that Denzel got the rights to The Century Cycle and was going to get them on HBO.  Wonder if that's still the case.

Fences is one part of the Century Cycle, a 10-part series of August Wilson, with a play set in each decade of the 20th century.  Fences is the 1950's play, and it and one of the others both won Pulitzers.  Black excellence!

Dialouge was overkill yes
It still was a play with no intermission yes
The plot unfolded slowly yes

But it wasnt a bore

It still feels like a play. Some love it, some were bored. I give it a 10/10. The setting is mostly at the house and there isn't a lot of action. The action is in the dialogue. They were acting their asses off.

i was watching a review (3 white ppul ) they said its good but i just feel as tho it was good acting and nothing else

well you cant really get that without a good script and production
i think if it was an all white cast it would be amazing on all fronts
