I don't have much experience with suicide but I sympathize with it. We all have a finite amount of time here so we should enjoy it while we can. Can't really say or judge why people choose to commit suicide but I don't necessarily see them as weak either for escaping whatever problems, illness, etc they're going through. Some people just can't cope.

My friend just texted me an article of some guy who killed himself on FB Live. like "this is so sad." I didnt feel anything.

Not another one :uhh:

Man I saw a Fb live video of a guy lying in the street after a car accident, face gashed up, narrating what was happening and checking his angles :uhh:

Have to admit, the fb live part of this suicide probably made me feel even more of nothing. I despise an attention seeker, no matter how far you go to get it. Not saying this guy was a stunt queen x100, but I dont get broadcasting that...

I don't think you can judge unless you're in their shoes.
and that's not directed at anyone here.

I don't really see the problem though. Everyone's moral compass is different. You're not obligated to feel sympathy or empathize with something you don't necessarily relate to.

but i hate when you tell me ppl you dont feel sorry for them and they try to give you a

YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THEY BEEN THROUGH  mess out

No. The only thing I don't like is negative criticism of suicide.

Esp. trolls that like to tell the mourning family how weak they think the person was

i dont agree with telling the family that.  It is horrible but it is true and the family already knows that.  They dont need someone else rubbing it in ya know

!!!! Like, what am I supposed to do, hit like to keep you from offing yourself?

I definitely sympathise with "traditional" suicide but the social media aspect of makes me sick to my stomach. Firstly, I don't wanna see that shit on my feed :uhh: secondly, this moment is forever gonna be on the net for your friends/family to relive over and over again  :uhh: :uhh:

I truly believe it's a mental illness of some kind so I always feel bad, I guess.  Idk ..  its just upsetting all around, and mostly I feel for their loved ones, cuz whether they believe it or not, there's always at least one person that cares or one that would, if they'd just try and let someone in.

!!

Because every living thing instinctually does everything it can to preserve its life

The suicidal girls always seem BROKEN after their attempt

Except the ones faking

I don't believe its mental illness all the time. I recall watching the news some months ago about a story on a 5th grader that committed suicide because he was getting bullied everyday at school. The bullying was so bad the bullys would actually wait outside his house for him. His parent didn't know what was going on if I recall but the 5th grader wind up taking his life. His parents found him in his room.
