wtf :omgwatshappening:

I just couldn't bring myself to meet someone off of an app. Not knowing that anything they're saying, not even their pic or description is true. But it's different strokes for different folks. I can only speak for my personal preferences.

I don't think everyone uses these apps to meet or date people. I know I don't.

v
!!!! Really doesn't make a difference and you can still meet someone the "traditional" way and not know them.

Well, considering that the topic is addressing sexual preferences, I assumed my reply was in coherence.......it's a very well known fact that Grindr isn't used for discovering besties. Are we going to act oblivious to its well deserved reputation?

And it seems by your slightly defensive response that you may be taking MY preferences as some sort of attack on yours. As I said, different things for different people. No one is right or wrong, as long as everyone uses common sense while using apps or meeting people in a more traditional manner.

I'm confused; when did I ever say that people on dating apps are whores? How did we shift to the topic of promiscuity? I simply said that things like "no blacks" "no fems", etc. are not to be taken seriously on these apps; in fact, they shouldn't be taken too seriously at all. It's all social media at the end of the day and people will always feel more at liberty to unleash their inner racists, classists, etc. -- whether it be genuine or not. Because honestly some of these people are just being edgy, assuming it's even a real person behind the screenname.
