Alot of critically acclaimed films aren't necessarily meant to be "loved".
The art is really in the restraint, the minimalism, and in what they don't show you.
I liked the movie, but I agree with some of the comments about certain characters not being developed enough. It felt like there were alot of cuts...I don't know.

I think what I appreciate is the fact that this was one of the few gay films that didn't embody gay stereotypes or the traditional gay narrative.
