GLOCK

Why do most gay men in this ballroom scene mess have flat asses?

GLOCK

This is disappointing
All these skinny people with no boochies
No damn eye candy

GLOCK

This is good tho
I feel for them
And it's helping me understand this ballroom life
Because foreal foreal .. I lowkey looked down on ballroom ppl ..
Like my skin use to breakout when a fag would throw their back to the ground

I definitely did the same, I think most ppl do. Until things like this happen and exposure allows for us to learn more about something.

GLOCK

I respect the ballroom lifestyle now.
Thx for this.
I've grown so much this year ...
my level of education and acceptance of trans and ballroom ppl has grown immensely not that they needed my acceptance.. it feels good to know that most of us are striving towards the betterment of our community
❤️.. real shit

!!!!!!
This was very well put together
I had no clue that these houses were created to help these gays because they were homeless or booted out because their families wouldn't embrace them
I mean.. now it makes perfect sense
I just never knew

Hmph ... we still have so much growing to do as blacks

GLOCK

But still
How the fuck don't these people crack or break their damn backs and/or neck

WTF

Kurama

One of my clients was kicked out on the streets, even AFTER his family made him eat from plastic plates and utensils when they found out he was gay. They automatically said thought he had aids and kicked him out because they were scared to interact with him. I knew then that I had been wrong about the way I look at people in the scene, sex workers, and just other Black gay men in general.  :'( :'(
