I may have to change my profiles from Black to Mixed after this.

:sobusyjetsetter:
jbkhvycgtfx prince

I mean, however you choose to identify yourself.
A lot of us have unknowingly embraced the one drop rule which was, from my knowledge, originally thrown onto us by white men.

"u Just black! Why u need to know anything else! u aint fuckin special :fuming: "

but everyone has the right to know who they are and what makes them unique. I can honestly say I have a better understanding of myself, and it only continues to grow as I dig deeper. Especially my research into Africa.

nnnnn

Hun, bby, I'm BLACK and mixed.

But I'm really interested to find out the REAL tea. My Grandma too claims NA ancestry, so we'll see about that.

Romero said I have a slight Arabic look about me, I hope not, but again we'll see.

:tistheseas:
I always thought you looked quite exotic as well.

So many gorls have been disappointed with their NA truths. :dead:  :plzstop:

But the truth is that 80 percent of African Americans have NA ancestry which is below 0. Which would make it undetectable in most cases.

White people need stop the nonsense as well. I can't @ people fuming at the truth that they asked for.

:dead:

Hugo

wow. so many of us from the Motherland  :stressed:

i found newspaper articles written on my great great grandfather
one of the first appointed chief justices in Liberia

what the hell is the point, just to be able to say it? you're WHITE be happy with the privileges ur given every day  :uhh:

And Theo, even if your results do not match what your grandmother told you regarding HER Native American heritage -- as in no percentage comes up for you....that doesn't mean she's lying. You are separated from her by one generation...which is your parent obviously. So it just may not be strong enough to trickle down to you, but that's not to say that NA blood isn't flowing through her veins. It's just further back.

My great grandmother's given name was "Chief", clearly the Native mess was close enough for it to pop up in my test, so it did. My great great grandparents may have been very close to full blooded NA. And even if it didn't pop up, I wouldn't have run around trying to test my sisters, cousins, aunts, and mess. It is what it is. :dead: For ME.

Only thing I'm confused about is my great grandfather now. Some documents list him as white , some as black. I have a strong feeling he was mulatto. I'll talk to my grandmother later on.
