The issue for me isn't whether it's right or wrong. It's just another example of black men trying to tell sisters what they should be doing with/for themselves. The whole time not realizing that energy should be placed on guiding our black men into better places.
Black women may not be ahead as far as the dating curve, however they are shitting in just about every other area (starting businesses, getting degrees, leading movements). I just think at this point black men focus on the women because it's a easier to point the finger, instead of holding MEN accountable. Women (tho not all) tend to mimic what they think men desire! So if our women are going plastic/fake, it says more about what our men praise and celebrate then it does about the women. Maybe if he put that energy into telling young men to love and celebrate our natural women, then maybe more will strive to achieve it.
