I agree, Glock.

I cannot sit here and lie by saying that I've seen great adversity as a black man, I consider myself fortunate -- and also as the exception, not the norm. We must all do our part to combat the malicious actions that have been committed against us since we were dragged over here from Africa.

My contribution to the fight was definitely getting my ass back in school. Honestly, when you're financially comfortable, sometimes you lose sight of the importance of furthering your education. But I won't let the white man's dollar blind me to what I need to do for myself and for others. However, I will let him PAY for my education (tuition reimbursement, anyone? hehe) while I still have the opportunity to do so. Milk him!

I have big plans for myself and my community and want to enhance my communication skills, as well as fine tune my leadership skills, so I can use them more effectively. Not saying that I am going to be some activist, being "angry" definitely isn't my style. But it will be something that is true to my personality, while helping and uplifting my people. I'm excited and this is what is driving me through every assignment I complete.

Love you. <3

yes same here....i mean little things have happened here and there but nothing crazy....and im dark as night....it may have to do with the way i dress and my accent...i dont know

but i sympathize with blacks that go through that
Right.

And at the end of the day, whether or not I've been through it YET

YET

again...

YET

That can all fucking change in 24 hours. So I can't sit here and judge others, or tell them how they could have handled things differently, until I am actually stopped by a white skinned, blue eyed and blond haired cop my damn self.

and the true tea of it all..
everyone expects us to be this way...
slavery is old! let it go! dont blame us for what our grannies did! lolz all lives matter

like  :uhh:
People in general really expect us to understand their issues and kinda let everything slide..and for us to be "TEAM THEM" .. #TeamEveryone :diddraispoot:

this whole "all lives matter" mess is pissing me off.. and no shade the WHITES dont fucking get it.. yall steal everything from us.. are granted larger opportunities for our mess (music, sports, creativity, building this shitty country).. stripped us of our past.. and you just cant let us fucking have "BLACK LIVES MATTER"  :nowgorl:

another thing.. everyone always wants to link the black struggle to their mess (see: trannys, white gays, middle eastern people, spanish people, anyone thats fucking "different" in america, ETC ETC )

yall should understand! come on now! yall been thru stuff too.. YALL MUST support cuz yall can relate!

NO BITCH.. how about its already hard being fucking BLACK.. i dont want to understand your struggle.. hell im still trying to figure owt my own being a black man in america! :uhh:

Nothing but tea, Glock.

I try so hard to view everyone from a place of love, but a lot of what's been done in recent times, the apparent agenda to silence those who expose them for who they are and the #BlackLivesMatter movement, really makes me see (most) white people in a different way. It's impossible to pretend that they could sincerely mean it when they say all lives matter, but I can't help but feel like it's only being said  in retaliation to BLM and/or to preserve the white power in this country without being accused of racism. All lives wasn't a big deal to you before, NOW you wanna make it a movement?! Had this been the case before, it wouldn't feel like such a big "FUCK YOU" to black people who actually have the right to be angry right now.

the issue with the movement is it has no real goal or values sort of like occupy wall street and some of the tactics members use aren't really helpful.
