I get it but i'm questioning why? There's just as much colorism in Latin/Caribbean countries like PR and Haiti as there is in North Africa. Meanwhile French has spent as much time among Black people, in New York as Fat Joe. So why is it okay for one to benefit from the culture and not the other?

I don't even think most of the people upset abut this are even all that outraged

PR's and Dominicans actually have pretty hefty amounts of West African blood -- they're mixed with Black. And they also live in the same areas that we do up here. In the hood. They're not perched in the suburbs of Long Island, coming out to Brooklyn to act ghetto and see how fun it is to live in poverty.

That's why they get a pass. They're not only socially connected, they're even genetically connected to us.
