Here's the deal: It's all about who has the most experience with having the ability to take care of children and their needs (such as helping them with homework, providing meals, making sure they get to bed and get up on time for school in the mornings, hygiene, etc.) In our society especially in this country regarding gay men especially, we are looked at as pedophiles when statistically the vast majority of pedophiles are actually straight males and females and it always turns out to be another family member or a family friend. People automatically assume that gay men want to molest children when the reality is that gay males have been better nannies/babysitters than straight females have been. That has been proven through psychological studies. I'd rather leave my son with the person with the most experience and if that is a gay man then so be it. Because he's effeminate doesn't take away from his experience and ability to be a great caregiver. This is where perception always comes into play within this. It's better to think logically and thoroughly when it comes to these things.
