Women who molest children are less likely to be reported for a number of reasons. Especially in low socioeconomic environments. Especially if there's a young teenage boy involved, and messing with an older woman is seen as a 'rights of passage' .

Men typically don't report sexual crime because they may face stigma & skepticism .

But to what extent we don't know and therefore can not compare the number of unreported cases by females to the reported cases by males.

Even if we knew the actual number of unreported cases of abuse by females who's to say it would be higher than males.

It most likely would still be lower, we can't know for sure.

But what has been proven and what we do know to be true right now is that men are more likely to be sexually abusive.
