I think the real issue is the Black queer folks don't OWN any of these damn spaces. I moved to one of the largest cities in the U.S thinking the Black gay scene would be that much better but I was wrong.

These fags don't own a damn thing, they're constantly paying rent to someone and when they can't afford it they move to a new smaller location.

Then they be having the nerve to compete with other party promoters doing the same thing instead of coming together to buy their own space.

These fags are just regular ass folks trying to make a living for overcharging niggas to get into a rented space.
