The Beyonce era had legs and she had 4 radio number ones including On The Run.

And in regards to your other post artists have even less control now...once the album is out radio will play whatever they want. This has been a constant issue (if you are single focused) for bey since the B'day release.
The alternative of releasing multiple singles before the album is counterproductive see how nicki has a few hits leading up and once the album is out nothing else sticks.

The days of going on multiple tv shows to promote a single are virtually gone, ppl are lucky if they can even book a late show or a snl to promote their album these days. It's all left in radio's hands or figuring out a way to make something that goes viral.

I agree with this.  She comes and goes imo. Drake is different tho.  Why would he invest all that time in one era when he has another one on its heels? Views JUST came out with rihanna last year. Beyonce doesnt release like that so yea she should invest more in her eras
