I'm so confused :dead: is all the backlash over the commercial featuring white women?
dsdss yes

This is silly. They're branching owt to other demographics to increase profit, it's hardcore capitalism at work. The dramatics really aren't needed.

To me the problem isn't them being white, but this commercial talking about natural hair struggles when they have hair textures that are widely celebrated and appreciated in society.

Yea. It ain't rocket science.

And nothing wrong with expansion, but alienating your core is just bad business....and dumb

I get that alot of "outrage" is coming from faux woke girls just because they saw a non poc in the commercial but there are people who are legitimately upset and have a right to be. Still companies have to make their coin and targeting one demographic will only work for so long.

Yeah. I'll admit that being "woke" has become trendy in most cases. However, there have been people who have been socially aware/conscious for a while now, which is why it probably became trendy in the 1st place. How do you know who is one of these original folks and who's putting on for the trend?

Yh we now these sjw and "woke" gurs have overtaken social media/the internet in general. I don't really have to differentiate between the two.
