Katy Perry embraced her inner-Betty Crocker and released what appears to be a teaser for her alleged single ?Bon App?tit? with a delicious recipe for cherry pie on Monday (April 24).

The singer shared a newsletter advertising ?Katy Perry?s World?s Best Cherry Pie? recipe, along with baking instructions for a ?golden crust? and ?juicy filling.? Although the sweet recipe sounds promising, many fans couldn?t help but wonder if the handout actually served as a clue for Perry?s next track from her forthcoming album.

Glossing over the recipe at first glance, it appears to be filled with normal baking directions and a list of ingredients; however, some lines could be read as lyrics for a new song.

?Please just take your time/ This pie is gonna hit that sweet tooth, boy/ Calm those hungry eyes/ Bon App?tit, baby!? were picked up within the instructions of the recipe -- sounding an awful lot like a Katy Perry song in the baking, er, making.

In March -- coincidentally around Pi Day (3.14) -- fans got the first taste of the song when Perry posted a video of herself on her Instagram story blasting a short audio clip of ?Bon App?tit,? which is supposed to feature Ariana Grande.

Gathering all the evidence, we definitely know Perry has a sweet tooth for cherries and cherry Chapstick, which is further proof the pop singer is serving up something sweet.

Hopefully we won?t have to wait too long for this dessert of a song and Perry?s anticipated forthcoming album.
