I mean, by the time Britney was on her 4th album, Christina was still on her 2nd. She coulda had a bigger catalog if she pushed. She's just lazy as fuck.

And she always changed musical directions. She did the soul/throwback mess on BTB, and then tried the electronica route on Bionic (but failed).

It only failed because people weren't ready for that sound at the time
which is a ki, because that sound became a trend after Bionic came and gone

the album is underrated and definitely ahead of it's time.

Well, it failed commercially and creatively. I love the songs she did with Santigold, M.I.A., Switch and Ladytron. I think that was the overall direction she wanted to go. But the Tricky Stewart and Polow Da Don songs messed the whole album up imo. I read RCA pressured her to do those songs. Like, they scrapped the Goldfrapp song for trash like Prima Donna.
