Troy is a politician in training, it's really not that far fetched that he would be comfortable around different people. His fathers seems to have drilled in him the importance of networking and being liked by everyone.
!!!!!!!!!!
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

ott

But I remember a sociology class I was taking there was actually this one white boy was crying and carrying on about how black men are genetically good at sports and how no matter how much he tries he won't be as good. He was dragged of course. But a few semesters later I remembered him and he was all hugged up on some fine black girl. I was like... OH I get it now hmph!  :kii:

And another thing I find it ironic how the whole series is based on awareness of blackness yet the comedic relief and anti-black remarks were aimed at the African character. Contradicting much :uhh: but fight the power n stuff! :uhh: and also the ghetto black girl playing the typical 'homegirl' role was a mess. There are more negatives than positives about this show.

Yeah the potrayal of the African was disgusting. I was highly disappointed in that. The actor was shitty, the character had no depth, no nice inside African jokes about. They could have made a cool Ghanaian character with nice jollof rice jokes. But clearly they don't know shit about African culture. And they did make the one dark skin girl make the homegirl sidekick.

There's a difference between being comfortable and setting unrealistic characters. Him dancing at the gay bar :uhh: yea no. Not realistic.

Liberal rich men who like using their good looks to charm insecure gheys is nothing new. He clearly knows his appeal and pull and is using that on anybody where it works. Also Lionel was doing a story on him, he had to be nice.

Im guessing its because u live in texas or something cause that aint far fetched either. Not every heterosexual man is "EW" @ gay guys and ESPECIALLY in this day and age. How many times have we watched the real world or something and the straight roommates are going to gay clubs with the gay roommates. Maybe i could see that mentality in the south but when u start getting to places like L.A. or something people arent as concerned about stuff like that

The show is unrealistic and DUMB tbh. When has a straight black jock guy ever been buddy buddy with some faggots. Plea! I bet the writer is a thirsty twink. I cringed at how they dealt with that Gabe character. It's all unrealistic. White men aren't that passsive aggressive :kii:
lash this show Queen

SouravMay

he clearly was using those fags to fake his drug test. This guy is good looker and a charmer who uses his appeal to get what he wants.

vvvvv Are you comparing a TV show to real life? :dead: sit down. It has nothing to do with living in the south, fag. The vast majority of straight black men aren't that open minded or "free spirited" tbh.

Was Joelle really ghetto though? lol
No she wasnt ghetto. She just had more "black moments" I guess. Like, her saying "oh hell no" doesnt minimize her to "the ghetto character"

Straight guy at a gay bar isn't unrealistic. He's comfortable with his sexuality.

Straight black guy is tho :dead: y'all can be delusional if ya want

White men are completely passive and timid around black guys and DEFINITELY wanna be "down" if you allow them to be.  None of that Gabe shit was off base
history shows there are PLENTY who aren't that way

The real world isn't just some tv show.  :dead:
And everything in the south is definitely slower and less progressive. This isn't news or debatable  :dead:
