My only question to the transracial gorls is which black do you identify as? We have black Americans, black Haitians, black Dominicans, black Brits, black Frenchmen etc; It's never been a monolithic experience.
Maybe that can vary by experiences, enviorments, etc. Like Kaeli, not that's she's transracial, but she said she spent alot of her upbringing around white people, dating white men, so on and so forth. My aunt adopted a white boy and he has 5 blk siblings and 2 blk parents. Im sure those types of enviorments and experiences can be instrumental in how someone sees themself and how they identify
This whole thing is still so confusing to me.
I don't see anything wrong with someone wanting to live life how they TRULY feel in their spirit, but the transracial shit makes being black sound like an ?identity?, rather than a lived reality. It's the same thing with the transgendered gorls, anyone can and will waltz in and claim space at the table, have their voice heard above everyone else's and demand that their need be readily acquiesced at the expense of biological women, all because they "identify as a woman". Same way a black person has the right to give Rachel a side eye for co-opting an experience she's never truly lived through, does a biological woman not have the right to do the same to Laverne Cox?
