Instead of worrying about how they'll be brought up
be happy they have a home and loving individuals that will love them
because their biological parent COULDNT.
that's a given..
So now that we've gotten the toppings owt of the way..
Let's get to the crust of this flatbread
They need to educated on their black history and the journey they will have as blacks living in America
Happy they have a few toys to play with tho.. lovely
Who's to say they won't?
I feel like yall worry about the wrong things...
the first thing that popped in my head wasn't hoping they'll be taught black history
I see a loving family and two partners who wanted to provide a better life for these kids
instead of them being stuck in a system, probably all thier lives
and then thrown out on the street at 18 to fend for themselves...
that's the bigger picture and what should be the focus.
I don't think I provided my first thought
We know they have a home so the greater picture here is rather or not they are being properly educated on their heritage so that it won't be a culture shock when they experience instances where their race will come into play
There are important values that need to be instilled in all black children not sure why we are giving this a pass because they finally have a place to lay their heads..
There's more to raising children than a bed and food
