right. i think a lot of ppl may get embarrassed when they see stuff like that and as a result want more punishment.
i was with someone in Subway...and this black crackhead came in acting foolish, cursing because the wait time was long, etc.
and the person i was with got so upset..... "this is why they see us this way...."
who gives a fuck with this Punjabi thinks about my people. if they're dumb enough to judge an entire race off of one black crackhead thats their problem. just fix my sandwich and keep ur mouth shut. and we'll be good. IF ur thinking that way.
i was really irked. they were legit embarrassed and ashamed. i was more upset with them than i was the crackhead.
long as my black ass ain't in there acting a fool who cares. just don't touch me and we good.
!!!!
We're all guilty of it, it's just how we're conditioned
There's been enough times where I've witnessed some mess from my peer group and caught second hand embarrassment and felt the need to speak UP and apologies

sssdsd
I agree that many of us are guilty of it.
but the older i get and the more i learn it's really like
who gives a fuck
my brothers or sisters actions do not reflect on me as a person.
but, i will say that there's still that undertone in the mindset that when something happens its like "damn. why it gotta be the black guy"
s,dsd.ds''sd,sdsdsd

but im not sitting somewhere legit upset about how a black person behaved in front of sarah or a sandwich making terrorist
Yup it's just life
But I agree
now that I'm getting older my mindset is shifting from "group thinking" to "individual thinking"
I don't represent or speak for my entire race, and a few hoodlums don't speak for me either

It's just that we're so conscious and aware of what people think of us and see us, we can't help it at times.
The times where I had think "if I sit next to this woman, she may feel uncomforable" or "lemme take my hat off in this shop so they don't think I'm up to some mess"
Now...
