What you guys are doing is no different than telling a black/white person that they're white and only that.

That's not reality or how society is, in my experience.  I look black, therefore I am.  And that's the way I like it.  Regardless of the issues/barriers I face.

Neither was Asian history lol

We grew up in church and praising God. That was on the forefront. We knew about blk history from everyday experience and school and discussions of an event happened to us. But it wasn't drilled in our heads. I grew up in a big city, melting pot. Diversity is everywhere.
I'm done though. I'm not gonna waste my time. Certain members know me, off the board, so that's ok. I'm cool with them. I don't need to connect to anyone else.
