yummy

At this point, she's only making music for the few fans that stuck around after all the flopping, so do whatever makes them happy.

Yeah, it's obvious Ci wants a Daft Punk mess owt. She should come out with a TRAP tea, let it hit #1 on Urban radio and then release a multi-format smash.

I can't tell if it's from Jackie or Ciara though

Harlem

I think Ci should go for a Kaytranada sound, I think that mix of fresh electronic/house/urban would make her ass happy and with the right songs it could be dope especially with the right visuals and choreography...

But I still need sis to give me some Mike Will & Metro Boomin leans too

Harlem

And Ima need Ci to stop giving "Singer" and just fuckin give a laid back lush vocal & coo on a track... I'm tired of this falsetto or ratchet voices she be doin on these songs  :dead:

I was just thinking that. Play with both electronic/funk and southern bounce sounds, that's up her alley. People loved "1, 2 Step" and "Body Party" don't make imitations but expand on it a bit and get funky.

Also, I wouldn't mind light midtempos like "Someone To Call My Lover" and "I Feel It Coming" sounding tracks. But there's got to be at least 2 slow jams and some grease but I better not hear a trap beat/flow.

Honestly, who cares.  She's 31.  That ship has sailed.

Ciara is done as far as major commercial success is concerned.
.What she needs to do is focus on R&B music.  She always follows up R&B jams with these Pop leaning songs.  "Ride" followed up shortly after with "Gimmie Dat".   "Sorry" was paired with "Got Me Good". "Body Party" went into "I'm Out".

If she could commit to delivering an era full of R&B records that all sounded like first singles, she would find way more success.  Kelly Rowland did the same thing doing that Rihanna demo right after "Motivation".  Everyone does this ABCDEFG attempt at getting a quick hit instead of crafting a movement of great music.  Take a page out of Beyonce's book.  Stop chasing it.  Make music in your lane, put more creativity in the videos, do more shows, and let everything roll out organically.  There's no reason Ciara couldn't make a record like "Sorry", "Hold Up", "7/11", "Bitch Better Have My Money", "Work", or any of these big records I hear from Beyonce and Rihanna.

She also needs to do more collabos.  Link up with Big Sean, Chris Brown, Drake, Migos, etc.   Stop trying to ride the fence and do half an album of R&B and half an album of Dr. Luke stuff.  She just isn't that girl.  Pop programmers will NEVER play her.  Plus, she's over 30.  Lock in with Urban producers and have fun. She seems to be stuck chasing crossover success or wanting to release records that can be played on all 3 formats.  This is not 2008.

Ciara's shameless desire to be mainstream is her downfall.  You don't have to chart Top 10 on the Hot 100 to have a  successful and consistent era.

Oh, and start dancing again.  Not posing in cute clothes.  Like, really pushing through with choreography.  You're not a singer, hon.  Shake that ass on a beat like "Ass" by Big Sean.  And sit some of these girls down.
