Boy, you can't ask a question and start talking 5 seconds into them answering the question.

I want you to practice the natural give and take of any conversation. Ask what you have to ask and say what you have to say. But once the other party starts speaking, pull back and listen to what story they're telling. It shows respect.

I'm not saying let the interviewee run the interview, but you can tell when someone is speaking with conviction. Be interested by that and see what new thing you can find out about them
