Not accurate. The network was bought by Sinclair Broadcast Group, a very conservative group with plans on introducing a news network very similar to Fox News. The network didn't have a say in the matter. The show just doesn't fit with the conservative right wing agenda of it's new owners. But hopefully rhe show will get picked up on OWN or something.
