Well I vividly remember Kristal feeling herself a bit and blatantly dismissing Kelly's role and input on the show. The episode when they had their little riff about 2 of the girls going in the studio on their day off. One of them was like Kelly said we could go in whenever, and Krust was like "stop right there, KELLY AIN'T IN THIS GROUP"  So by that being the case it also isn't her responsibility to let them coattails on her fame 24/7.

Kristal's career was fucked long before Kelly and JD, she was back in the slums of North Carolina gaining weight and losing teeth. At least Kelly gave her wack wannaBey ass something semi-productive to do with her spare time.

Kelz clearly doesn't use JD like that anymore, but she did tweet support for that tired Jodeci remake back when it debuted, the heaux haven't done anything of note since. She's allowed to like other girl groups music, she always said she wanted to see multiple girl groups out winning like in the 90's, not just one.

Anyways I think Kelly finally got wise to Franks agenda (and how she was potentially shooting herself in the foot), so she left him(and that flop group) to his own devices.
