Mya giving up major deals after liberation

She never gave up on major label deals. She was just fed up and discourage. I would be too, if I funded the recording cost for both my albums (Moodring & Liberation). After final straw with Motown leaking the album she decided to go indie however it was rumored she was in talk to sign a deal with Live Nation around 2008 but nothing ever materialized. Mya still take meetings with labels but she's all about ownership and creative control and I don't think they're willing to give her so much freedom.
