I read that going alone is best if you want to meet new people or potential boo thangs.  Something about guys being less scared to approach since they won't have an audience if you reject them etc.  Still that sounds sooo scary, like you would have to be a natural born social butterfly to pull it off imo.  Have you ever gone to the club alone?

I guess its easier if you're a regular and know a bunch of people already.  I went for the first time last week and it seemed like everyone was in a clique.  I would have been miserable if I went alone and had to dance by myself

I mean.... I did it when I first moved to NYC. That's how I made my first set of friends. It was a day/rooftop party though. Idk if I could do an actual "night" club by myself. That's kinda awkward. Day parties are more social and a great way to meet people (with some form of substance).

Yea.... And I think that's why I often prefer just going to straight clubs. I always say what I'm looking for, I'm not gonna find in the damn club. I'm just trying to dance and get drunk like MelMel.

I hardly go out to gay bars/clubs these days. I've gone to gay clubs alone many times but not to meet anyone. I go to enjoy myself and have a good time.

Im the furthest thing from a natural born social butterfly, but my very first visit to one was alone  . I had fun, too.

but I went to a gay sports bar by myself once, it was a much older crowd and I was just perched watching the game ignoring anybody that was trying to hit or look at me. Wasn't my type of crowd but that was like a step 1 for me to get more comfortable.

A damn club... idk I'd probably be a the bar the whole time.
